DescriptionThe seated bagpiper is wearing a brightly colored and gilt costume. He sits under a gilt-heightened reticulated arbor with applied floral clusters and surmounted by a green-edged cupola. The piece has a stepped scrollwork base heightened in rose, green and gold.Model number 301 (a reissue of model number 280); originally a candelabrum with flanking branches supporting pierced candle nozzles.
