DescriptionThe female figure is wearing a brown and green drapery and a gilt scalework cuirass overa a flowered pale yellow dress. The figure is standing with trophies of war at her feet before a recumbent lion and bocage.Model number 259, 1st of three sizes (a larger version of the earlier model issued as number 121), adapted probably from a lead statue by John Cheere (1709-1787).
