DescriptionModel number 291, 3rd of five sizes, from an engraving by either Charles Grignion the Elder (1721-1810) or Louis Truchy (1731-1764) after the 1742 painting by Francis Hayman (1708-1776) of 'Quin as Falstaff'. The male figure is wearing a rose hat and doublet, a flowered waistcoat, and iron-red trousers. He holds an oval shield and a sword which is missing. He stands on a mound base heightened in turquoise and gilding.Status
