DescriptionA couple stands in front of the fortifications surrounding Paris. The man is very short and wears an oversized top hat and bowtie. The woman on his right appears very tall next to her companion.

Written in ink to the right of the couplet:
"Paris je crache pas d'ssus, c'est rien chouette,
Et comme j'ai une âme de poète,
Tous les dimaches, je quitte ma boète
Et je m'en va avec ma compagne,
A la campagne."
